Disney has officially announced a live-action remake of the 2002 animated film 'Lilo & Stitch'. The news was unveiled at the D23 event, where the cast and release details were revealed. The live-action adaptation will be directed by Dean Fleischer Camp, and Chris Sanders will return as the voice of Stitch. The film will star Courtney B. Vance as Cobra Bubbles, Maia Kealoha as Lilo, Sydney Elizebeth Agudong as Nani, and Tia Carrere and Amy Hill as new characters. The original 'Lilo & Stitch' followed Experiment 626 as he got adopted by a girl in Hawaii. The live-action adaptation is part of Disney's strategy of remaking their animated classics.
