Director General of Police (DGP) J&K, RR Swain visited Doda District to reward the bravery of the police personnel and Special Police Officers (SPOs) who were part of a successful operation in the Gandoh area of Doda district. The operation resulted in the elimination of three terrorists. Accompanied by ADGP Law and Order Vijay Kumar and ADGP Jammu Zone Anand Jain, the DGP distributed appointment orders to seven courageous SPOs who played a key role in the recent operation [2f8bf352].
During his visit, the DGP expressed his appreciation for the act of bravery displayed by the police personnel and security forces. He commended their commitment to protecting the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The DGP assured the police personnel that the headquarters is committed to providing them with all the benefits they deserve. He emphasized that the J&K Police, along with other security forces, will continue to work with strength and determination to fight and defeat those who threaten peace in the region.
The DGP also took the opportunity to interact with the Jawans and officers at the District Police Lines (DPL) in Doda. This allowed them to share their concerns and grievances with the DGP. The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of DKR Range and the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda briefed the DGP about the overall situation in the district. The DGP stated that he and senior officers had come to reward and acknowledge the exceptional efforts of the brave J&K police personnel and SPOs. He expressed confidence that with the support and cooperation of the people, the J&K police and security forces will ensure the defeat of the enemy, as they have done in the past [2f8bf352].
Ch. Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, the Director General of Police (DGP), emphasized the importance of prioritizing the peace, security, and overall well-being of the people of Andhra Pradesh. He outlined several key initiatives aimed at bolstering the efficiency of the Police Department, including the use of technology in crime investigation, the establishment of family counseling centers to enhance the safety and security of children and women, and the implementation of rigorous road safety measures.
