The abductors of Edo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman Tony Aziegbemi have demanded ₦500 million for his release. The family of Dr. Aziegbemi has entered negotiations with the abductors, who initiated contact on Friday. The Edo State Police Command is not aware of any ransom demand. Dr. Aziegbemi was abducted on March 16 after attending a political meeting at the State Government House.
