In related news, Idaho State University and The Wassmuth Center for Human Rights have announced a five-year partnership to develop and offer professional development courses for K-12 educators. The courses will focus on human rights, including Holocaust education, and aim to equip educators with tools and resources to teach these topics in their classrooms. The Albion Center for Professional Development at Idaho State University will provide the courses, which will be available online and transcribed as graduate level, non-degree, semester credits. The partnership aligns with House Concurrent Resolution 25, which encourages greater attention to Holocaust education in K-12 schools. The courses are expected to be available in Fall 2024 [1a43cbf7].
