U.S. Sen. Bob Casey visited the Children of God Early Learning Center in Bristol Borough, Pennsylvania to discuss affordable child care and challenges with early childhood education. Casey emphasized the importance of a qualified staff in child care centers and how it benefits both the center and employers. He mentioned that unaffordable child care not only burdens families but also keeps people out of the workforce. Casey expressed support for the expanded Child Care Tax Credit and the proposed 401Kids Savings Act, which would create children's savings accounts. Representatives from Bucks County Community College, Children First PA, and the United Way of Bucks County were also present at the event. Prior to visiting Bristol Borough, Casey visited an early learning center in Bristol Township. [a659dbd4] [4a782729]
