Veeam, a data management company, has joined forces with Sophos, a cybersecurity firm, to offer organizations human-led threat detection and response for protecting their backups from ransomware attackers. Veeam's Data Platform monitors environments and identifies threats, which are then flagged to Sophos MDR (Managed Detection and Response).
