Defending champion San Beda University and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde kicked off the NCAA Season 99 men's football tournament with dominant victories. San Beda defeated Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) with a resounding 5-0 win. Alexis Jeremy Lampines scored the opening goal just three minutes into the match, setting the tone for San Beda's strong performance. Nicolai Art and Kirk Eman See added two more goals to give San Beda a commanding 3-0 lead. Paul Jushua Mapula and Faustin Kirvy Tabelin sealed the victory with their goals. Meanwhile, Benilde secured a 6-0 win against Mapua University. Jancee Blerr Borja scored two goals, while Kobe Joseph Stuart Del Rosario added one. Charles Clarence Unabia and John Clyde Vitualla also found the back of the net for Benilde. In their next matches, San Beda will face Mapua, while Benilde will take on EAC.

Letran, finishing second to UPHSD in the elimination round, relied on their championship experience. Moses Manalili played a key role in Letran's finals berth-clinching win. UPHSD, with an 8-1 record in the elims, was seeking their first-ever title. However, Letran defeated UPHSD with a score of 97-80 in NCAA Season 99 junior basketball. Moses Manalili led the Squires with 35 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. This win puts Letran on the cusp of claiming a back-to-back title and their 14th overall. The game took place at the Filoil EcoOil Arena.
The San José State beach volleyball team went 1-1 on Sunday in regular-season matches at the Inaugural Sand Jose Invitational at Spartan Beach. They clinched the dual-winning point against Saint Mary’s with a 21-9, 21-18 win at the No. 1 position. Shirley Morrison fought hard and came-from-behind to get the first San José State point of the dual, winning 10-21, 22-20, 15-8. Siena Brewster and Meredith Scott put SJSU up 2-1 with a 23-21, 21-17 win. The Spartans then fell to Utah, 5-0, with two matches going three sets. The Spartans also swept Sierra College, 5-0, in an exhibition dual. The team will travel to New Orleans for the Southland Midseason Tournament on March 22-24.
Cal Lutheran won the 2024 NCAA DIII men's volleyball national title in straight sets (25-22, 25-23, 25-23) over Vassar in Dubuque, Iowa at the Athletic Wellness Center. Michael Stahl led Cal Lutheran with 23 kills in the championship match. This was Cal Lutheran's first-ever appearance in the NCAA tournament and their first national title. The tournament began on April 19 and the championship match took place on April 28. The NCAA Division III Men's Volleyball Committee announced the field of 16 teams for the championship on April 15. The championship has been held every year since 2012, except for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Springfield holds the record for the most national titles with five. The Nelson Titans 16U Women’s team won the division title at a BC Club Volleyball Tournament and will be heading to Nationals in Edmonton on May 24-26. They defeated Quesnel 2-0 in the final and had previously beaten a team from Victoria in the semi-final. The team has shown improvement throughout the season, starting with a poor showing in January and winning the Division 4 tournament in April. The commitment to attend Nationals is intense both financially and in terms of time spent preparing and practicing. The Nelson 15U Fire team also finished first in Division 5 at Provincials, winning a match against Campbell River.
