The Environmental Justice Boot Camp is a two-day intensive course on environmental justice research. It will be held on August 15-16, 2024 at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, MA, as well as online. The boot camp, hosted by the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health, the Columbia NIEHS Center for Environmental Health in Northern Manhattan, the Harvard Chan NIEHS Center for Environmental Health, the UCSF Program on Reproductive Health and the Environment, and the University of Washington’s Center for Exposures, Diseases, Genomics, and Environment (EDGE), aims to provide participants with seminars and applied analytical sessions on key concepts, exposure assessment techniques, epidemiologic methods, community engagement, health policy applications, and statistical analytic approaches. The training will be conducted in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and remote attendance. Scholarships are available for members of the Harvard community, with a deadline of June 3, 2024, and early bird registration ends on June 10, 2024.
