Deputy Prime Minister Dr Doto Biteko has directed leaders to respect the country’s pillars and stop interfering with other decision-making bodies by issuing public statements that may affect their operations. He launched a 10-day campaign in Njombe Region as part of the presidential Legal Aid Campaign initiative, emphasizing that each pillar of the country should know its lines of demarcation and respect the respective pillars. The campaign aims to provide public education on legal issues, systems performance, human rights, and the fight against gender-based violence. The government has convened a team to listen to people, identify challenges, and provide support. The campaign has reached several regions and has helped address various challenges, including resolving disputes related to land, marriage, inheritance, and child care. The presidential Legal Aid Campaign was initiated in February 2023 and is intended to run until February 2026. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Dr Doto Biteko urges employees of the energy sector to live up to the slogan "Less Words, More Action" to provide better services to the public. He emphasizes the crucial role of the energy sector in the country's economic development and the expectation of President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
