In Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Yadav has retained important roles including General Administration, Home, Jail, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Public Relations, Aviation, Mineral Resources, Public Services Management, and Narmada Valley Development. Deputy CM Jagdish Dewda has been assigned the Finance portfolio, while Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla has been allocated Public Health-Family Welfare and Medical Education. In Karnataka, Deputy Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar has kept the irrigation portfolio to ensure the implementation of the Mekedatu project. The DMK has declared that it won't allow the project to take off, but Shivakumar is committed to implementing it. Karnataka will release 177 TMC of water to help Tamil Nadu and the people of Bengaluru. The case is coming up before the managing authority, and Shivakumar is confident of getting justice for Karnataka. In Pakistan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has allocated additional portfolios to five federal ministers.
