Manchester United has completed the sale of young defender Willy Kambwala to Spanish side Villarreal. The transfer fee for the 19-year-old is reported to be €11.5 million, with an initial payment of €5.5 million and an additional €6 million in potential add-ons. Manchester United has also secured a sell-on clause as part of the deal. Kambwala, who made 10 appearances for Manchester United, becomes the second French center-back to leave the club this summer, following the departure of Raphael Varane. The sale of Kambwala will provide funds for Manchester United's summer transfer activities. The club is currently in talks with Jarrad Branthwaite and Matthijs de Ligt as potential signings. Manchester United wishes Kambwala the best for his future at Villarreal. [e3a3255a]
