The Nobles County Library in Worthington, Minnesota is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Adrian Branch Library in Adrian, Minnesota is open from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. The Worthington and Adrian libraries will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Winter Reading Program continues through March 30. Participants must be at least 16 years old to participate. The Worthington Library has youth programming including Wii for grades 4-9, Kids Club for grades K-5, Story Time for toddlers and preschoolers, and Just Gurlz for girls in grades 5-9. The Worthington Library also has adult programming including Board Game Night on Jan. 16 and a presentation on "Pirates: Predators of the Seas" on Jan. 18. The library will host an AARP HomeFit workshop on Jan. 23 and a Friends of the Library Book Club meeting on Jan. 29. Jones, PhD, and Nicholas Long, PhD. New large print books include "Just Once" by Karen Kingsbury, "Her Secret Hope" by Shelley Shepard Gray, and "Midnight at the Christmas Bookshop" by Jenny Colgan. New books for children include "Deer Hunting for Kids" by Andrew McMurdie, "Owl Diaries: Eva for President" by Rebecca Elliott, and "Unicorn and Yeti: Fun and Games" by Heather Ayris Burnell. The Nobles County Art Center is hosting a collaborative art experience called "Horse Meditations" with Dan Wahl through Feb. 27. The Art Center is open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
