Resident Evil HD REMASTER, the remastered HD version of the game, has received a must-have AI-enhanced HD Texture Pack that overhauls all 2500 backgrounds. The pack, called RESCALE, aims to bring the fidelity of the original backgrounds to the PC version. Modder 'Arcturium' used backgrounds from the original Gamecube release and enhanced the PC backgrounds where necessary. The new textures are significantly better than the original ones, which were oversharpened and full of artifacts. The mod is available for download and installation.
