The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has urged the Pakistani diaspora in the US to bring modern technology and invest in Pakistan to contribute to the economic revival of the country. The ICCI believes that the Pakistani diaspora, who have gained expertise and modern technology by doing business in the US, should explore Pakistan for joint ventures and investment to help the country achieve better growth. The ICCI also emphasizes the role of the Pakistani diaspora in connecting Pakistani youth with US entrepreneurs to share knowledge and expertise and explore business partnerships. The Pakistani-US Alumni Network (PUAN) has been working towards making meaningful contributions to Pakistan through community service, conferences, mentoring, and recruiting new exchange participants. The network has local chapters across Pakistan and its members have made significant contributions to Pakistan's government, business, culture, and civil society. The ICCI and PUAN aim to develop a close liaison to bring US investors, including the Pakistani diaspora, to invest in Pakistan and improve bilateral trade and economic relations between Pakistan and the USA.
