The 2024 Barcelona Summer School of the Mediterranean and the Middle East is a joint initiative of IBEI, Blanquerna, and DIPLOCAT. It will consist of interactive courses on the politics and international relations of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, taught by experts of international reputation. The program will also include field trips and cultural events. Interested candidates should apply before June 27, 2024. The events will be free for all registered participants. The format will be face-to-face with the opportunity to follow the courses and events online.
In other news, last week the summer football camp of the Barca Academy ended in Bar, Montenegro. The camp brought together talented boys and girls from various countries and aimed to improve their football skills under the supervision of trainers from La Masia. Amad Dacić, a member of Stari Aerodrom, was declared the best player of the camp and will spend seven days training at Barca's La Masia. The goal is for the Barca Academy summer camp in Bar to become a tradition, and it returned to Montenegro after eight years thanks to the support of partners from Croatia. The camp included physical tests and Spanish language lessons, and the organizer aims to expand the Barça brand in Montenegro and convey the club's philosophy and values. The camp also announced the selection of members for the following year, and junior girls have started preparations for the Balkan Championship.
