Residents have welcomed the move, as there have been complaints of criminal activities in the area. The increased electronic surveillance is expected to help detect and prevent untoward incidents. The agency will also manage the power of traffic signals in the area.
Meanwhile, in The Bluff, dome cameras are being installed by ET Rapid Response to enhance community safety. The project involves strategically placing six new cameras across the area, with two already installed on Marine Drive and Nirvana Road. The cameras will be monitored by ET Rapid Response, providing access to footage and improving surveillance capabilities. The goal is to deter criminals and address crimes related to fence-hopping and street incidents.
