OmniBSIC Bank and Heritage Energy Operational Services Ltd (HEOSL) and its OML 30 Joint Venture Partners have made donations to enhance local policing in Ghana and Nigeria, respectively.
In Ghana, OmniBSIC Bank has donated a Nissan Navara Pickup to the Airport Police Station in the Airport enclave. The donation aims to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen security, and reinforce peace in the community. During the presentation, OmniBSIC's Managing Director, Daniel Asiedu, praised the support of the Airport Police Force and emphasized the collective responsibility in policing. He called on other corporate organizations to support security agencies, particularly the Ghana Police Service. The Regional Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police Arhin Kwesi Annor, expressed confidence that the donated vehicle would enable the Airport Police Station to patrol a wider area and respond to emergencies promptly [dac9e754].
In Nigeria, Heritage Energy Operational Services Ltd (HEOSL) and its OML 30 Joint Venture Partners, Nigeria National Petroleum Company Exploration and Production Ltd (NEPL) and Shoreline Natural Resources Limited (SNRL), have built and donated an ultra-modern police station to Evwreni community, Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta. They also donated a Toyota Sienna space bus as an operational vehicle. The project is in line with goal 16 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal and is designed to reduce violence and crime in the area. The project is a legacy project under the Global Memorandum of Understanding (GMoU) and is part of the Host Community Development Trust (HCDT). The Delta State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Olufemi Abaniwonda, commended Heritage Energy and its Joint Venture partners for their contribution. The President General of Evwreni community, Chief Kenneth Ukpebitere, expressed gratitude to Heritage Energy and the Delta State government for their efforts in ensuring peace in the community [f5dad7a5].
