Former Lieutenant Governor André Bauer has joined a Greenville-based private equity firm, Broadstreet, as a senior adviser. Bauer will play a key role in expanding the firm's presence in the Carolinas, with a focus on the development, planning, and expansion of large real estate projects. With over $3 billion in transactions, Broadstreet is the equity provider for the largest land infrastructure developer in the Carolinas. Bauer, who served as lieutenant governor from 2003 to 2011, brings extensive experience in real estate development, having worked in the industry since 1989 and founded Bunk Aviation LLC. This strategic hire will strengthen Broadstreet's capabilities and help drive its growth in the region.
